Nominated by the Handango team and judged by a panel of industry experts and media, the Handango Champion Awards were presented for applications on Palm OS(R), Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Windows Mobile Smartphone, BlackBerry(R), Symbian S60 and Symbian UIQ in the following categories: Best Evolution Application, Best Entertainment Application, Best Industry Application and Best Life Management Application.

Each Handango Champion Award winner will receive a prize package that includes a $5,000 marketing stipend, inclusion in a special edition of the Handango Champion Newsletter, and a variety of other promotional opportunities. Winners and finalists also will be prominently featured on Handango’s website and on-device storefronts.
