MWC 2008: Symbian and Sony Ericsson announce new UIQ devices - G700 and G900
G700 and G900 deliver touchscreen and innovative organiser capabilities for a broad appeal

Symbian announced today 2 new Sony Ericsson devices running UIQ. The G700 and the G900 have regular keyboards and are the size of regolar smartphones.
The G700 is a compact personal organiser with large 2.4 inch display screen and a unique single-touch control menu. It features a 3.2 megapixel camera and has a simple touchscreen user interface based on UIQ for intuitive phone and web navigation, while offering easy access to a rich suite of applications.
The G900 includes all the features of the G700 with a 5.0 megapixel touch-auto focus camera, a touch photo album and editor, incorporating Wi-Fi connectivity and RSS feed functionality for high speed data transfer and internet browsing.
Since Sony Ericsson became a Symbian shareholder and licensee of Symbian OS in 2002, the Company has launched ten mobile phones based on the UIQ and Symbian OS platform including the P800, P900, P910, M600i, P990, W950i, P1i, W960i, G700 and G900.
The G700 and G900 will be available in selected markets from Q2 2008.
