Nokia never had it easy with pushing N-Gage. It wasn’t doing good when it was first introduced as a weird-looking gaming device (without even MIDP 2.0, which was already available at the time on other devices).

Nokia then introduced the N-Gage as a gaming platform available on a range of devices and started pushing the gamedev community to produce games (one example).

Still, with all the recent buzz in the mobile gaming industry going to the iPhone, Nokia needed something else to draw the attention of developers.

Can that something be a cool video-cast? A developers talkshow?

Nokia has released the first episode of it’s Sauna Talk, where host Arnold Farber interview developers in… well… a sauna. It seems there are 2 other episodes about to be released but you can already enjoy the first episode featuring N-Gage’s Miikka Skaffari:

“Get the latest buzz on the N-Gage platform in an exclusive interview with Miikka Skaffari, Head of Developer Product Management. Learn about this latest mobile technology with host Arnold Farber as he inquires about the new tools, APIs, and the SDKs offered to developers through the N-Gage platform.”

I personally think this is an excellent show. The idea is great and looks very cool in video. It just left to see how non-saumi people handle the Sauna interview.. Way to go Nokia. Great stuff.

Felipe Sampaio posted a new wiki entry on Forum Nokia wiki covering the making of a bluetooth chat using Kuneri Lite.

In this tutorial we will follow a step-by-step guide to create a chat by Bluetooth using Kuneri Lite. Kuneri Lite allows access to the S60 features (Bluetooth, GPS, Camera, …) that we haven’t access directly from Flash Lite.

There is sample source attached to the wiki. Grab it here.
